The Art of Pole 5 DVD Set
Jamilla Deville

This set from Jamilla Deville, a champion pole dance performer, includes five different DVDs. These cover a multitude of moves from the absolute beginner level all the way up to advanced tricks designed to challenge serious students and instructors.

Single moves are taught first, followed by combinations, and then finally mini routines that use the moves just taught.

The DVDs cover walks, spins, climbs, inversions, mounts and dismounts, smooth transitioning, combining moves, and all the touches that turn pole moves into pole dance. Details such as optional hand grips are covered as well.

Great for learning Moves
by: Kris

As a beginner I got the full set of DVDs and she does a great job breaking down each move but until you build the arm/core/leg strength it is hard to move forward to each move. Once you have that down the DVDs are a great way to learn new moves.

Almost Amazing
by: Anonymous

I am a true beginner at pole dancing...meaning i have no arm strength what so ever. I wish there were some more spins to start with because in the first video your already doing a split grip. Other than the fast pace of the moves in general the dvd's are amazing. She breaks everything down step by step and provdes multiple option for performing the same move. In addition, she give you tips to help figure out why you may be having trouble! Overall i love them...ill just be on video 1 for the next two years!lol

Love them!!!
by: Sissel, Denmark

I bought all five (and a DVD with tease) and I must say, I am now Jamilla's biggest fan. She explains all moves thoroughly and safely. Apart from her being an amazing pole dancer herself, she is also very good at explaining the moves.

Furthermore, the five DVDs cover a huge range of difficulty of the moves - the first one is very basic and the last one is sooo difficult! Ok, I am obviously in between, but I really believe that there is something for everyone in this series!

I highly recommend it.

Love it!

I am a real beginner at pole dancing and purchased these DVDs. Jamilla is a great teacher. Vol.1 is really good for true beginners. From then on, you really need to be able to hold your own body weight. But these DVDs are great!

I have this DVD set and I love it. Bought a pole kit and I do everything at home; I don't even go to outside classes anymore.

I bought all five dvd's and I think they're amazing. Jamilla goes throught the steps clearly and even covers safety aspects which weren't even covered in the pole class I go to.

Great for experienced polers
by: Anonymous

I have purchased vol 3. I would rate it intermediate level.

It covers cupid/princess, superman, straight leg climb, butterfly, shoulder mount preparation, advanced plank, aerial upright V, hello boys (aka venus, V sit), cross ankle release (aka hangback, falling angel), shooting star - as well as some combos / routines to teach transitions between these moves.

Jamilla is very easy to follow, very informative and the demos are exceptionally clear and well executed. A really good DVD. She gives you plenty of time to practice, and covers hand and foot positioning, momemtum etc etc in good detail for each move. Most spins are covered on spinny and static pole.
