Pole Affinity is a PDC Approved Pole Dance School in North Devon, running Pole Fitness classes in Barnstaple, Bideford & Ilfracombe areas.

Miranda Goldring runs Pole Affinity. She is a qualified fitness professional in Gym and Exercise to Music and has been poling since 2006.


Miranda was a semi-finalist in UK Professional Pole Championships and a member of the PDC.

Pole Classes are great fun! So different from any other exercise class or the gym which tend to get boring after a while!

Pole is progressive in nature so there is always something new to learn & challenges to beat! It’s suitable for men & women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Pole Affinity offers lessons from complete beginners to advanced levels, group & private lessons. You will learn spins, tricks , transitions & routines. There are opportunities to get involved in showcases and enter competitions. Plus, there are always lots of social events to look forward to. It’s a fabulous way to meet people and develop new skills.




BARNSTAPLE – classes are held at our own Pole Affinity Studio in Castle Street.

The studio is large and spacious with full length mirrors. Light & airy with 6 x 11ft high X Poles, which can be used both static & spinning. Loads of space around every pole!

*Classes EVERY week night - (Various levels)
*Monday's lunchtimes- 1:30pm

ILFRACOMBE- classes are held at 'Studio 20 Fitness Centre’, in a fully mirrored, spacious & beautiful dance studio.
*Thursdays 7:15pm

BIDEFORD - classes are at Pollyfield Community Centre,
large free car park on site.
*Wednesdays 6:30pm

Other classes on offer are:
FITNESS YOGA - the perfect complement to pole!
Stretch and strengthen all those muscles, work on balance & your core stability in this energising class which is a blend of yoga poses, deep stretch & Pilates based exercises
Classes on Monday 7.45pm & Friday 5.30pm and cost just £4

POLE CIRCUITS – a conditioning & cardio class for a hardcore workout that will leave you sweating! £5 Wednesdays 6.40pm.
Early Bird?... Try our POLE BOOTCAMP! 6.30am start!
This class will soon whip you into shape! But ...can you handle it?!

HEN PARTIES/ BIRTHDAYS/ EVENTSPole Affinity offers parties in:*Pole *Burlesque *Cheerleading *Grease *Dirty Dancing * Thriller2 Hours of fun in these dance parties, learn new moves & a dance routine.
Pole Affinity is also available for performances at events.
