How to find pole dance instructors
by: Susan from PDFF

As far as I'm aware April, there are no directories specific to matching up pole dance instructors with job openings. But here are a few suggestions you might try:

You didn't specify whether you already have a pole studio and teach yourself, or whether you're looking for someone to set up a pole studio in your fitness center, or something in between.

If you already teach in your own pole studio, the easiest way to find new instructors is to look among your student base. Likely there are a couple of students who really stand out and who would make great instructors if you were willing to put in the time to train and mentor them.

If you're starting from scratch and need to hire for a new studio, or if you're looking for someone to come in and set up a pole studio within your fitness center, then you might try inquiring with some of the studios that train instructors. You can probably find these by doing an online search for "pole dance instructor training" or similar phrases. Businesses that provide training often list their graduates on their site, or would be willing to put you in touch with someone in your area.

A couple that come to mind off the top of my head are Vertical Dance in the UK and S-Factor based out of Los Angeles.

I hope this information at least helps to get you started, and best of luck finding an awesome instructor!
