Pole Dancing Exercise Tips
To Help You Get In Shape

Pole Half Moon Stretch

Pole dancing exercise is a wonderful thing. Think about it for a minute...

For less than the price of one of those all-in-one home gyms you see on late night infomercials, you've got a piece of easy to use equipment that can help you build and tone muscle, burn calories for weight loss, increase your flexibility to help prevent injuries, and improve body awareness to help you look and feel your best.

Susan says, "Pole dance for exercise rocks!"

Sitting Pole Up And it sure beats yet another boring gym workout. If you still have doubts that pole dancing can help you sculpt the body of your dreams, you might want to take a look at this amazing video clip.

Your dance pole is definitely an amazing fitness tool...if you know how to use it. And that's what this section is all about, helping you get the most out of your pole so you can turn every pole dancing opportunity into a fun and effective pole dancing exercise session.

You can pole dance for exercise too! Here's how:

There are three main components to fitnes: strength, flexibility and cardio. Your dance pole can help you with all of these, and I've devoted a separate page to each one to help you get the most out of your pole dancing exercise program.

When you visit each page, you'll see several sample exercises, stretches or mini cardio routines to get you started. You'll also find detailed explanations for each one, to help you get the most out of each move or exercise. I've also included safety tips and progressions for when you're ready to work a little harder.

To get you started with a fitness program using your dance pole, check out these strength exercises designed to improve muscle tone and make you stronger for all those pole dancing lifts and spins you'll soon be doing.

Coming soon, I'll be adding a section on pole dancing aerobics, and another on using your pole to improve your flexibility. Stay tuned and check back often, as I'm adding more information every day!
