What Kind Of Pole Dancing Gear Does a Girl Really Need?
Now that pole dancing is becoming mainstream in the world of fitness, pole dancing gear and accessories like clothing and shoes are becoming must haves as well. Just like in the 80's when leg warmers were synonymous with aerobics (I'm dating myself, I know!), sporting the proper gear in class is becoming very trendy and oh-so-much-fun. And since the fun factor is a big part of what makes pole dancing such a great fitness activity, I'm all for more of it! But the really good news is that there's also a practical side to many of the current pole dancing accessories and pole dancing equipment, which gives you even more of a reason to indulge yourself if you're so inclined. Now don't get me wrong, there are very few things you actually need, other than a good quality dance pole, to start reaping the fitness benefits of pole dancing. But if you want to make things a bit easier, a bit more comfortable, and a bit safer while you're learning, as well as a little sexier once you've got the hang of it, there is definitely some great gear you might want to know about. For convenience, I've sorted this information into sub-sections. Just click on any of the links below to learn more about each type of gear. You'll find out if it should be on your "want it" or your "need it" list, what problems it can solve (or create!), and what to look for in terms of features and quality.
