Amazing Tango Pole DanceThe Tango-Pole Dance fusion created by the dancers in this video clip is absolutely jaw dropping. It's by far one of my all time favourite videos, both for its unique spin on the sport, and for the calibre of the dancing. The incredible acrobatics used by these dancers, combined with the passion of Argentine Tango, make for a truly unique performance. In fact, the pole becomes almost a third partner in the dance, helping to create a stunning fusion of the two dance forms. Tango Pole Dance These dancers make the climbs and holds look effortless, and those aerial dips are soooo romantic. Be sure to check out the inversion sequence about half way through. The strength, grace and athleticism required are simply breathtaking. In addition, their ability to play with the music adds so much to the performance. For example, just that little bit of head play at the very beginning helps to set the tone and bring their routine to life right away. If you ever thought men didn't belong on a dance pole, I'll bet you'll change your mind after watching this clip...I sure did! Not only does the male dancer display incredible strength and muscle control, he's every bit as graceful and flexible as his partner. This incredible performance video is truly a feast for the eyes; the appreciative live audience certainly thinks so!
